Motors and a power supply are included in the price of the ROBO-DOME and the 15' domes, but optional on 6' and 10' domes. If you plan to automate a 6' or 10' observatory, your order should include motors.

Electric Dome Drive (ED-6/ED-10)
$475
12 VDC motor drive system for dome rotation on 6 or 10 foot domes. Includes two motors, all hardware. Can be added at any time.
Electric Shutter (ES-6/ES-10)
$475
12 VDC electric motor, windlass, and stainless steel cable system for opening and closing shutter on 6 or 10 foot domes. Includes all hardware. Can be added at any time.
Power Supply (PS-2)
$120
12 V 10 A DC power supply with built-in key switch and two toggle switches for electric drive and electric shutter. Specify 110 or 220 VAC. This power supply is used with 10' domes. The PS1 ($100 can be used on 6' domes.
Pre-Assembly Service
15% of Order
Complete factory assembly and testing of your observatory, including all fitting and drilling of holes. The observatory is shipped partially disassembled with all parts marked for easy re-assembly at your site. Pre-assembly typically reduces installation time by at least 50%.
Special Fiberglass Colors
$300
Standard colors for fiberglass parts are white outside, dark blue inside. Special colors available at extra cost. May increase production time. We can match your color, or you may request a color chart from us.
